How long will my results last?

  • After Botulinum A. Toxin is placed into the targeted muscle, the weakening effect gradually begins anywhere from 3-10 days, and is not complete for 2 weeks. Peak effect on the muscle is at 14 days, but the results will continue to improve for 4 weeks or more - this is when you’ll see optimum results.

  • Anti-wrinkle products are long-lasting but not permanent. Results can last anywhere from 2-6 months, although on average the effects of anti-wrinkle injections last for around 3 months.

  • Longevity depends on the type of products used, it’s indication, compliance with aftercare and individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle. If your facial muscles begin to train themselves to contract less, the period of time between treatment may be extended as results may last longer.

  • Results are individual and it may take a number of treatments to achieve your desired results. Regular reviews are important and we recommend regular treatments to maintain continuous results.

  • Injections can cause small amounts of swelling, redness, bruising, temporary bumps, a mild to moderate headache, and sensations such as tingling or mild itching after the treatment. These effects are common and can be considered a normal part of the process.

As we mention above, the effects of anti wrinkle injections last for up to 3 months. Therefore, we recommend treatment every 3 months to maintain continuous results. Nonetheless, if your facial muscles begin to train themselves to contract less, the period of time between treatment may be extended as results may last longer.
